Summary: By using ChristLearn, you agree to use the platform respectfully and in line with Christian values. You own your account but course content belongs to ChristLearn or its partners. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. These terms are governed by Nigerian law.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ChristLearn ("the Platform") at christlearn.org, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Platform. These Terms apply to all users including individuals, partners, and administrators.

2. About ChristLearn

ChristLearn is a faith-based online education platform providing structured Christian learning across theology, discipleship, family, business, and life application. Courses are provided by ChristLearn and approved content partners including churches and seminaries.

3. Account Registration

To access courses and platform features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration
  • Keep your password secure and not share it with others
  • Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
  • Be at least 13 years of age to create an account

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. ChristLearn reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

4.1 You May

  • Access and complete courses you are enrolled in
  • Participate in forums and blog discussions respectfully
  • Share course certificates you have legitimately earned
  • Contact us with questions, feedback, or support requests

4.2 You May Not

  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access your account
  • Copy, distribute, or republish course content without written permission
  • Post content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, or contrary to Christian values
  • Use the platform for commercial purposes without a partner agreement
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract platform content
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity

5. Course Enrolment and Certificates

Course enrolment grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to access and complete that course. Certificates are issued upon genuine completion of course requirements and represent your personal achievement. Certificates may not be sold, transferred, or misrepresented.

ChristLearn reserves the right to revoke certificates if obtained through dishonest means, including circumventing quiz requirements or sharing answers.

6. Content Partners

Approved content partners may publish courses on ChristLearn subject to a separate Partner Agreement. Partners are responsible for ensuring their content is theologically sound, accurate, and appropriate for the platform's community. ChristLearn reserves the right to review, edit, or remove partner content at any time.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content including course materials, videos, text, graphics, logos, and software is owned by ChristLearn or its content partners and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

By submitting content to ChristLearn (such as blog posts or forum contributions), you grant ChristLearn a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content on the platform.

8. Community Standards

ChristLearn is a Christian community platform. All users are expected to engage with each other with respect, grace, and integrity β€” reflecting the values of the faith we share. Content that promotes hatred, division, heresy, or is contrary to the platform's Christian ethos will be removed, and accounts may be suspended.

ChristLearn does not endorse any specific denomination, theological tradition, or political position. We welcome believers from across the body of Christ.

9. Disclaimers

ChristLearn provides educational content for informational and spiritual growth purposes. Course content represents the views of the respective instructors and partners and should not be taken as official theological, legal, medical, or financial advice.

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the platform will be error-free at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ChristLearn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of ChristLearn shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or NGN 0 if no payments were made.

11. Termination

You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@christlearn.org. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account without notice if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that harms the platform or its community.

Upon termination, your access to course materials and certificates will be removed. Content you submitted to public areas of the platform (forums, blog) may be retained in anonymised form.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes by email. Your continued use of ChristLearn after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.
