‎"Master! Master!! We are perishing" the disciples cried out unto Jesus who was taking a nap while the strom was raging.
‎
‎I believe they must have thought within themselves that, " how can a man sleep when there is a storm?"
‎
‎‎Let's do a quick description of what a storm looks like.
‎
‎‎Imagine a boat that was once sailing on a steady current suddenly becomes violent and the boat begins to fight to stay upright.
‎
‎The sky above is dark and churning, clouds racing low and fast. Lightning may split the heavens in blinding flashes.
‎
‎On the other hand the crew are bracing themselves, while the ocean appears vast, angry, and unstoppable.
‎
‎Waves rise like towering walls of water, heaving the ship upward and then dropping it suddenly into deep troughs.
‎
‎Okay, let's stop there but you must know that a storm as experienced by a sailing boat feels far more intense.
‎
‎In the midst of all that chaos, our dear Lord Jesus Christ was seen taking a nap...can you imagine?
‎
‎Now let's bring it home, we can all agree with me that at one point in our lives we've faced a situation that paints the same picture as a storm.
‎
‎We've faced situations that has threatened our peace and shaken our faith. Situations that has made us question the existence of God.
‎
‎For every season, there's a word from God. His word serves as an anchor.
‎
‎‎Even if it feels like He is silent about what ever it is your going through. His presence alone speak a lot.
‎
‎God's presence in our lives is PEACE. Remember He is the Prince of Peace. He has not brought you this far to disappoint you.
‎
‎ ‎Keep holding onto Jesus.

Yours sincerely,
