‎If our church journals could speak, they would express their grievance about how hidden treasures are left unused.
‎
‎After putting down those powerful rhema and shouting "kia! ride on Papa, this is deep!".

It is so sad that some people will still not go back to their journal and meditate on what they've received.
‎
‎I can remember going through the church journals I used when I was in Secondary school... I kept saying to myself where have these words been?

Did I really write this? I kept saying prayers for the vessel God used to send those words that stirred something within me that day.
‎
‎Those who go to church with writing material but who don't go back to it are not different to those who don't go to church without writing material because to them they have a very sharp memory but if they were to be in a secular conference or seminar you will see them serious with jotting.

Let's not even talk about those who go to church with a different sheet of paper every Sunday or during weekly meetings.
‎
‎I am not being judgemental here, I was once like those who write but never go back to my journal after that service until I had that experience where I stumbled on my Secondary school church journals.

That was when I started to see going through our church journals from another light.
‎
‎So, I am here to tell you all to please repent.
‎
‎Like I said earlier, in these journals are treasures: truths, keys to spiritual growth, solutions to life challenges.

For us to bear fruit of a hundredfold, sixty, thirty we must be ready to sit with it after every sermon, meditate and pray with them.

‎Let us learn to appreciate God's servants who will labor for days with sleepless nights waiting on God to know what He has for His people.

I know God is the best rewarder but it gives them more joy when they see us put these things to practice. It shows that their labor wasn't in vain.
‎
It's all about being intentional. Trust me you will see changes in your life and you will not have any reason to spy into your notes when next they ask "what was our last week's topic?"

Shalom.
